When romantic drama knocks on your door (either literally or figuratively) the silver coast cosmopolitan is the sort of drink recipe you want to have hidden up your sleeve. A riff on the classic cosmopolitan, it is a bit less boozy...but what it lacks in strength, it makes up for in mood. This is an undeniably sultry drink. The base is tawny port instead of vodka, which results in a cocktail with serious complexity and noticeably more body. It also boasts a gloriously deep red color, which only adds to the intrigue. Expect sweetness, tartness, and maybe a passionate stray remark or two.
